This is Clay again. I have been monopolizing the computer so Holly hasn't had a chance to post.

Emilia's First Time Backpacking

Holly, Emilia and Clay went hiking in the Medicine Bow Mountains. We had to take Emilia so we could break her into one of our family traditions. She had so much fun.
Are we lost???? No, its just the lake. Emilia loved being strapped in the bjorn and looking at the beautiful surroundings.
At the campsite, Emilia loved to see the scenery with her Daddy.

If you look very closely to the tiny dots in the water... there are people fishing. It looks like they are standing in the middle of the lake, there is a shallow shelf that extends into the lake. Steve aren't you JEALOUS?!

We had such a fun time backpacking!!!! Thanks Dad (Clay) for letting us go with you.

A day in the Zoo

Here are some Capybara or chiguire in spanish. These are the largest rodents in the world and Clay used to eat them during Easter in Venezuela.

So, here is a cute picture that I am sure everyone will love. Emilia had so much fun this weekend that she couldn't stop smiling and Grandma couldn't keep her eyes off of her.

Fun with Aunt Kelsi, Grandma and Grandpa

This last weekend Grandma De Ann and Grandpa Steve, and Aunt Kelsi came into town. We had so much fun climbing a fourteener:) , going to an art museum, and eating at the cheese cake factory. But I think the funnest time was just being together. Thanks for coming up, we love you all.Here Grandma De Ann and Emilia were having so much fun together. If you look in the background Emilia's mischievous grandpa Steve was going to join in the fun.


Emilia and Aunt Kelsi had so much fun this last weekend. They were giggling and laughing the whole time.

Fourth of July

Emilia looked so cute in her 4th of July outfit. She enjoyed the fireworks on the 3rd but slept through the ones on the 4th. What a good baby.

Craziness on the coast of Oregon

Well this is Clay typing in proxy of Holly. We just thought we would post some photos of our recent family reunion on the Oregon coast. We had a great time and enjoyed being able to see everyone on Holly's side of the family and even a few on my side.

Clay's Marvelous Idea

Emilia found herself in a couple different chairs this weekend. We especially liked the rocker that seemed to put her right to sleep.

Grandparents & Emilia

These are Emilia's favorite grandparents: Russell and Sharon, and Steve and De Ann. They came to the her blessing on May 6th.

California trip

The weekend of the 8th of June we went to Monterey Bay in California for a wedding. Clay's friend Pat ( who is pictured with Clay) got married on the coast at the Pacific Grove light house. It was a fun and fast weekend that was made even shorter by our friends of the Sky, Southwest. Lets just say spending a night in the Las Vegas airport was really fun:)
